Monsters Battle Top-Seeded Mohave in Region I Semifinal Loss

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. — October 29, 2025 — The Eastern Arizona College men's soccer team put up a strong defensive effort against top-ranked Mohave Community College on Tuesday but fell just short, 1–0, in the Region I Semifinal match.

The Monsters held Mohave scoreless for much of the first half, containing the top-seeded Thunderbirds with disciplined defending and key saves. Mohave managed to break through in the 37th minute with what would become the lone goal of the match.

Despite the deficit, Eastern continued to battle through the second half, creating several late scoring opportunities but ultimately couldn't find the equalizer.

The Monsters concluded their 2025 season with an 8-9-3 overall record and a 1-5-2 mark in conference play.
