Bio
For the upcoming 2025-26 season, Sam Harrison joins the Eastern Arizona College men’s basketball staff as an assistant coach.
Most recently, Harrison served as an assistant coach at Rockhurst University, where he helped lead the Hawks through the highly competitive Great Lakes Valley Conference. Prior to Rockhurst, he spent time at Texas A&M International, Central Wyoming College, Kansas Wesleyan University, and Graceland University. While at Graceland, Harrison was part of the 2018 NAIA Division I National Championship staff.
Before beginning his coaching career, Harrison was a standout player at Rock Valley College, contributing to two NJCAA national championship teams. His on-court success at the junior college level has fueled his commitment to helping student-athletes succeed both on and off the floor.
“Joining Eastern Arizona College is an incredible opportunity,” Harrison said. “I want to thank Coach Turner for trusting me to be part of this program. EAC has a rich tradition, and I’m excited to contribute to a culture built on hard work, accountability, and player development. My goal is to help our student-athletes grow as competitors and as people while competing for championships.”
Originally from Prior Lake, Minnesota, Harrison earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Graceland University in 2018 and his MBA from Kansas Wesleyan University in 2020.
