Monsters Sweep Yavapai on the Road

Eastern Arizona College men's and women's basketball hit the road yesterday, taking on Yavapai in the Walraven Gymnasium in Prescott, AZ. The Monsters came home with two solid wins after a strong night on both sides of the court.

The women set the tone early and never let up, cruising to a 112–26 victory.
Standout performances included:

• Eanae Dagons: 16 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists

• Esmeralda Enriquez: 14 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals

• Yazmin Edwards: 16 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists

• Danaeja Romero-Ah Sam: 14 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists

The win lifts the women to 19–1 overall and keeps them perfect in conference play at 6–0.

The men followed with a steady, balanced effort of their own, earning an 85–55 win to wrap up the night.
Key contributions included:

• Brad Ballinger: 14 points

• Kofi Peyton: 7 rebounds, 6 assists

• Kahu Treacher: 10 points, 7 rebounds

• Ryder Bush: 12 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds

The men improved to 13–8 overall and 5–1 in conference.

Next up, both teams stay on the road as they head to Central Arizona College on January 31, with game times set for 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
