Monsters Battle to Soccer Draw, Volleyball Grabs Five-Set Victory

Women's Soccer
Eastern Arizona traveled to Douglas, AZ on Tuesday to face Cochise College, battling to a 0-0 draw. The Monsters fired off 11 shots, with 5 on target, while Cochise recorded 10 shots and 6 on goal. Goalkeeper Larissa Sanchez anchored the defense with 6 saves to preserve the shutout. EAC now looks ahead to Friday when they host Ottawa University at 3 p.m.

Women's Volleyball
The Monster volleyball team pulled out a thrilling five-set victory over Mesa CC, 3-2. Addison Hinckley led the offense with 19 kills and added 4 service aces, while Rylee Pitney was strong at the net with 6 blocks. Defensively, Kambria Maloy kept the rallies alive with 20 digs. The Monsters are back in action this weekend, hosting Arizona Western on Friday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m.
