Eastern Drops First ACCAC Game

EAC dropped a 70-66 decision at the hands of the 15th ranked Scottsdale CC Artichokes.
The game began with SCC jumping out to a 17-9 advantage. Eastern then scored an amazing 19 straight points over the next eight minutes and then went into the locker room up 30-25. The game was back and forth until SCC scored ten straight of their own to take a 55-48 lead. Eastern then answered with seven in row but could never retake the lead.
Eastern placed two players in double figures led by Gabor Boros' 21 points. Boros connected on 5 of 9 from behind the arc and passed out a team high six assists. Marcus Palmer chipped in with 16 and pulled down 8 rebounds. The loss dropped EAC out of sole possession of first place in the ACCAC and moved their record to 8-3 overall and 4-1 in the conference.
